CALMING tea recipe
Calm Nerves with this Tea Recipe

SATTVIC energy balancing to all doshas. Vata, Pitta, Kapha
Calming and strengthening to all the Doshas, this tea is especially good for the mind, nerves, and digestion. The Gotu kola is very good for brightening the mind and its outlook. Spearmint and fennel are light digestives with a calming and cooling effect on the mind. Rose petals are blood cleansing and assist in creating equilibrium in the mind and body.
In a stainless steel saucepan, bring to a boil.
4 cups of water
Remove from heat and add:
1tbsp. dried gotu kola
1 tbsp. dried spearmint
1 tbsp. rose petals
1 tbsp. fennel seeds
Stir and let steep for 15 minutes covered as to not release the vital oils from the herbs. Strain and serve. Can be severed cool or warm.
