  1. I was a young single mom who put herself through college while supporting my son, worked full time, and managed to get a pre-law degree simultaneously, all before the age of 22. Still have no idea how I did it. My motivation came from the desire to give him and myself a better life.
  2.  I  took my first Yoga class at a Sivananda Ashram in 2007.  I was 34 years old and thought it was designed as personal torture. I was completely miserable due to my limited flexibility. I could not touch my toes or basically do any of the postures. Also, could not sit still for more than 5 minutes.
  3.  I spent 3/12 years basically in solitude practicing Yoga following my stint at the Ashram. Practicing mediation, Vedic science, pranayama, and asana.
  4.  I’m a plant nerd, fascinated by all things holistic and healing, and open to anything that relates to any of the following topics, plant medicine, yoga, Vedic science, mediation, Ayurveda, and nutrition.
  5.  I meditate daily and can sit still for hours now,  I believe the mind is the creator of everything in my life. I guess I always did in some respects. I just needed to refine my mindset. I owe everything to the discovery and practice of YOGA. It taught me how to heal myself.
